2014 Spring Workshop

Workshop Format
Four recorder groups will rotate between four coaches. The recorder groups are also open to strings players (viols, gambas). A fifth group for loud instruments will be offered in the afternoon session

Public transportation
Take the MBTA Red Line to the Porter Square stop. Upon leaving the station, don't cross any streets; walk south on Mass. Ave. (toward Harvard Square) for about 500 feet, and use the second 4-door entryway into University Hall.
Schedule
Session 1: 9:30-10:45
Session 2: 11:00-12:15
Break: 12:15-1:45
Session 3: 1:45-3:00
Session 4: 3:15-4:30
Please plan to arrive at 9:15. Please bring a music stand and a pencil.
Coaches
Tom Zajac, Jane Hershey, Rachel Begley and Eric Haas will coach the recorder groups. Marilyn Boenau will coach the loud instrument group.

Rooms
The rooms for the recorder groups are located in the BASEMENT. The room for the loud instrument group will be on the 3rd floor. There will be signs posted.
To get to the workshop basement rooms, follow these directions:
• if entering from Mass. Ave.: enter by using the entrance near CitiSports; go straight in, past the security desk; about 15 yards further on the right, take the stairs down to the basement - the registration/check-in area will be at the bottom of the stairs.
• if entering from the rear parking lot: go straight in for about 10 yards, then take the stairs on your left down to the basement registration area.
To get to the 3rd floor (or the basement) use the elevator next to the security desk.
Food
Fruits, coffee and donuts will be available before the workshop and during the breaks.
Lunch will not be served. There are many restaurants nearby, or bring your own.

Registration is now open. Please register on-line (pay using PayPal), or mail in your registration form with a check.
